Konstantinos has worked in entertainment localization and content quality since 2012, providing content evaluation, translation and quality control services between English and German for studios, streaming platforms and localization vendors. Reviewing subtitles, captions and audio against strict delivery standards, day after day, became the foundation for UTF8-LLC, which he founded in Los Angeles in 2017.
Today UTF8-LLC focuses exclusively on quality control for film and television localization: Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH), closed captioning, audio description, transcription, machine-translated and AI-generated subtitle output, and full audio checks, each calibrated to the delivery specification of the studio or platform receiving the asset.
